The Most Boring Game of the Season

SGU's home game had to be moved due to field closures and as a result the squad played their home game away in Pitt Meadows against Alouette United.

In the first half, Surrey Guildford was the superior team in terms of possession and limited Alouette's offensive forays unfortunately, for all the pressure, SGU was rewarded with nothing in terms of scoring chances.

The second half was virtually identical with SGU, arguably, being even slightly more dominant; still however, no scoring chances. The teams played for 65 minutes with next to nothing happening that would dictate a change in the scoreline. Inside the last five minutes, SGU got their one and only glorious scoring opportunity that would have allowed them to collect the three points but the chance was put over the bar and the final score was left at 0-0.

Next week SGU takes on Langley United.
